My Journey So Far
Kerala Rural Development Centre (KRDC)
Jun 2017 - Nov 2019
I began my UI/UX career at KRDC, designing websites and digital materials, including those for Coir Kerala 2017. My focus was learning the core design process and building interfaces that were clear and easy to use.
- Coir Kerala 2017: managed the digital efforts for the first event of its kind built to take Kerala’s coir industry to a global audience. I designed the event website, social media creatives and event-specific designs, giving the event one consistent look across every channel.
- Started my UI/UX career here, learning the core design process: understanding users, mapping flows, wireframing and designing interfaces
- Designed screens and layouts for web with an emphasis on clarity and ease of use
- Worked directly with developers and stakeholders to turn ideas into designs that could be built

I worked as a senior designer in a fast-paced product environment, designing SaaS products for a range of clients and domains. My role covered the full design process, from understanding requirements and mapping user flows to high-fidelity interfaces and developer-ready handoff, often moving between projects quickly while keeping quality and consistency high.
- Designed web and mobile SaaS products from early concepts through to build-ready screens, working closely with product managers and developers
- Turned complex requirements into clear user flows, wireframes and polished interfaces for dashboards, data-heavy tools and multi-step workflows
- Built reusable component libraries and design systems in Figma so new features could be designed and shipped faster

Senior UI/UX Design Consultant, Tata AIA

I designed digital experiences for Tata AIA, one of India’s leading life insurers, covering the customer portal, the policy onboarding journey and the internal developer portal. My focus was turning complex insurance processes into clear, simple flows for customers and developers alike.
- Customer portal: redesigned the portal to make everyday tasks easier to find and complete, improving the task completion rate by 14 percentage points, from 70% to 84%.
- Figma design system: built a scalable design system in Figma with reusable components, variants and styles, keeping the customer portal, onboarding journey and developer portal consistent and speeding up design and development.
- Customer journey transformation: digitised the policy onboarding journey, cutting the purchase process from around 40 minutes to roughly 8 to 10 minutes by simplifying steps and forms.
- Developer portal: designed the portal for Tata AIA’s developers, giving them a clear, well-organised space to find and use the resources they need.

I designed the product experience for Taplane’s EdgePulse and RoadSense platforms, which are used for traffic monitoring and connected-vehicle (V2X/ITS) systems. My work covered the full design process, from understanding highly technical workflows to developer-ready handoff, with a focus on turning complex, standards-driven tools into clear interfaces that engineers can use confidently.
- Designed the MAP message creation tool, which follows the SAE J2735 standard, covering intersection and lane setup, signal group assignment, validation and export
- Designed the TIM creator and SPAT interfaces for real-time signal and traveller information
- Built EdgePulse dashboards and V2X analytics views that present live, data-dense information for time-critical decisions
- Created and maintained the design system and component library, with annotated specs, states and edge cases for developers
- Worked closely with product and engineering, reviewing built screens against designs through design QA
- The MAP and TIM creator features outperformed competing tools and helped attract new business
